Secret Crush put in another strong piece of work this past Friday from the gate while in company with fellow unraced 3-year-old Refuel. The duo was credited with a final time of :48.52 (bullet drill from 23 works).
Our son of Candy Ride broke on the inside of his mate and was still just a step slow and green according to trainer Todd Pletcher. Otherwise he was very pleased with the work but reported he feels it will be best to give him one more work, leading us to target the maiden special weight on February 10th at Gulfstream Park versus the option at Tampa on February 3rd.
Pending there are no changes, we should see him back on the work tab Friday or Saturday with entries being taken on Saturday for Feb. 10th. We will report back with news of his entry once it happens.
