Surprise Appearance by Seize The Grey at the Eclipse Awards!

We had quite a surprise last week while viewing the Eclipse Awards when Seize The Grey made a cameo appearance in the televised coverage. His jockey, Jaime Torres, had been nominated for the Eclipse Award for apprentice jockey and they used footage of his race aboard Seize The Grey at Saratoga in the coverage! 

I was hoping to find a video clip to share with you here, but wasn't able to. But I do have a photo of Jaime and "Ceasar" from the same race I can share. Congrats to Jaime for the well-deserved nomination.

I was finally able to track down the footage of the Eclipse Awards nomination for Jaime Torres which includes footage of him riding our boy, Seize The Grey. It's a brief segment, and this link should be set to start right at the beginning of his introduction. This was Jaime's first ride aboard "Ceasar" and his first ride for legendary trainer, D. Wayne Lukas.
