Unfortunately Fancy Quality was off in her hind end coming out of her most recent work and will be scratched from Thursday’s race.
Trainer Kenny McPeek and his team will be having diagnostics performed and once any additional information is received we will follow up with another update.
Timing couldn’t be worse with her in the entries, but let’s hope this is nothing major and something that will require minimal time. Of course, we always have to do what’s best for the horse. She has clearly shown ability in her a.m. activity so hopefully any patience required will pay off.
