Adaay in Asia breezed a solo half-mile in :48 flat this morning at Santa Anita under jockey Geovanni Franco. Once again, the daughter of Adaay was on the aggressive side down the backstretch but was able to relax in the turn. She quickened nicely in the stretch without being asked by her rider, galloping out strongly past the wire. Geovanni reported that our 5-year-old mare felt strong and did everything well. Adaay in Asia is scheduled to have a final strong five-furlong drill next Monday ahead of her targeted G3 Las Cienegas Stakes on January 14th (nominations close on Thursday).
