Filly by Practical Joke out of Sea Worthy 

The bloodstock team really fell in love with this filly after her impressive :10 flat breeze at OBS March, and we’re excited to see this high-class female go to the barn of Hall of Famer Bob Baffert.

Bob trained our brilliant filly Seismic Beauty to victory in last year’s G2 Santa Margarita and G1 Clement L. Hirsch S. and another standout among his group of older females in 2025 was Richi (Chi), a daughter of Practical Joke who dominated in the G2 Santa Maria S. after taking a pair of Group 1 events in her native Chile. Practical Joke seems to be a particularly good sire of fillies, having produced fellow highest-level winners Ways and Means, Chocolate Gelato and Corsia Veloce.

Sea Worthy ’24 is currently enjoying a standard post-sale respite at Top Line, and is scheduled to get going again in April. After a few weeks of training to build her fitness back up, she’ll ship out to California and join Team Baffert.
