This site is being paused due to time constraints with managing both this and our Facebook group under the same name. It is not being archived at this time, and we will continue working to get the individual horse tabs (above) updated with added horses (it's currently lacking inclusion of several new additions) and info, workout data, and race results, but we will not be posting informational updates for the foreseeable future. Since Blogger is no longer letting us post photos for some unknown reason, and we can't seem to get or find any help with that issue, our option is to give our Facebook page the lion's share of our attention going forward.
Thanks to those who have followed us through the last several years as our stable has grown and changed.
A few highlights:
Having the 2024 Preakness winner, SEIZE THE GREY, trained by the legendary D. Wayne Lukas, was a lifelong dream come true, and we look forward to his success as a stallion--and one of the two G1 winning sons of ARROGATE standing in Kentucky. One of his first crop foals is ours--a lovely bay colt--also owned in partnership. He's now just over 5 months old and looking the part.
In 2025, we had CALDERA on the Derby Trial, and except for an unfortunate stumble in the Louisiana Derby, we expect he would have got there. But sometimes things happen for a reason. We also were deeply saddened by the loss of Caldera's remarkable trainer, D. Wayne Lukas, in late June 2025. He gave us the dream, and will forever by missed. We also had the "Fastest distance filly in North America" with the amazing SEISMIC BEAUTY. Unfortunately, an awkward stumble out of the gate in the Breeders Cup fell brought her in short of our wishes for her and she has since been sold, but what a dream ride she gave us as our 110 Beyer, G1 stakes-winning superstar.
In 2026 to date, CALDERA returned with a vengeance, this time trained by Saffie Joseph Jr., to win his first start as a 4YO convincingly, and then come back in his next start to set a NEW TRACK RECORD at Colonial Downs, barely out of a canter. We're so excited to see what's next for him. We also had a first ever experience when BACIO won big at Royal Ascot (UK) in the Palace of Holyroodhouse Handicap, winning by major daylight with a performance that rivaled even the big group winners that week. His story is still unfolding, and we look forward to another amazing journey.
We're now looking at the most outstanding group of up-and-coming 2YOs that we could have ever dreamed of being involved with, including Flightline, Practical Joke and Good Magic fillies, Epicenter, Jack Christopher, Constitution, Happy Saver and Tiz The Law colts, and a Good Magic x Puca potential legend of a colt. We're also looking forward to the continuing journey of some very nice 3YOs including BLACK TIE OPTIONAL (by Not This Time), MISSTRIAL (by Constitution), NATIVE BREW (by Yaupon) and others.
We'll see what the good Lord blesses us with as 2026 continues on into 2027.
