Fancy Quality turned in another solid work from the gate this morning at Fair Grounds and was credited with a final time of 1:03.40. Breezing in company with usual workmate, Bad Betty, and Midsummer March (by Mendelssohn out of a Munnings mare), our daughter of Wootton Bassett worked the best of the trio while on the inside.
The work quickly turned into a two horse competition between Fancy Quality and Midsummer March but Fancy Quality prevailed in holding a minor edge to the wire.
Trainer Kenny McPeek remains pleased with the progress of your filly, confirming we will target a debut on January 18th at Fair Grounds (see above), pending all continues well. We will follow up in the coming days and we should still expect to see one more work from our now 3-year-old filly in preparation for her debut.
Photo is a screenshot of the video we were sent of today's work. Fancy Quality is on the inside in the lead. Midsummer March is on the outside, and Bad Betty is the grey running some distance behind them.
