Simply Enchanting returned to the track this morning at Santa Anita. While she was supposed to go back to the track last Thursday, the daughter of Nyquist spiked a temperature and a routine blood sample came back a little off. This was likely caused by her travels and never escalated to anything more than a minor temperature.
Following a few days of walking and antibiotics, her temp returned to normal, and she received the green light to jog this morning. Our 3-year-old filly will gradually pick up the pace and return to a normal training routine in the coming days.
We do not expect this to impact her future plans, but we'll report back if anything is amiss.
