Simply Enchanting Set to Run in Sunland Park Oaks!

Simply Enchanting, 3YO daughter of Nyquist wowed on debut in January and now is set to make her highly-anticipated stakes debut in the Sunland Park Oaks at Sunland Park in New Mexico this Sunday, February 18th. (See info above these posts for specifics.)

Currently slated as the third choice on the morning line, the Phil D'Amato trainee will have jockey Antonio Fresu back in the irons for the $250,000 stakes race, not to mention the Kentucky Oaks points on the line! The winner will earn 20 points, second place 10, and third place 6 points, fourth place 4 points and fifth place 2 points toward this years' 2024 Kentucky Oaks (the Kentucky Derby for fillies held the day before the Kentucky Derby, the first Friday in May).

This is admittedly a big ask for "Chant" in only her 2nd trip, and our wishes as partners on this talented and very special filly is that she run a very safe and productive race. If she wins or places, it will be a huge bonus with Kentucky Oaks points on the line.

Best wishes, Chant! You go, girl!
