Legitify was back on the work tab on Wednesday morning as planned, covering three furlongs in :37 flat from the gate under exercise rider Jose Contreras.
In his debut a few weeks ago, trainer Richard Mandella thought he would have broken quicker from there and wanted to take him right back to the gate which was the purpose of this breeze.
The Mandella barn is pleased with how your colt is doing following his debut and is considering a maiden special weight going five and one-half furlongs on the dirt next Friday, April 26th but has not confirmed that spot quite yet. Entries for Friday are taken on Sunday and we will follow up with another update by Sunday morning.
