Seize the Grey has continued in great order over the last few days and the weekend. Trainer D. Wayne Lukas is planning to enter our son of Arrogate in the G1 Bluegrass Stakes tomorrow (Tuesday, April 2nd) which runs on Saturday, April 6th.
As mentioned earlier, he was also nominated for the G3 Stonestreet Lexington as a backup plan which has now closed with a total of 56 nominations. Click here to view the nominations.
"Ceasar" did not work over the weekend since the Jeff Ruby Steaks was only a week prior but he has galloped daily and is doing well back at Oaklawn.
He is tentatively scheduled to ship to Keeneland on Wednesday, April 3rd, pending being entered tomorrow. This would give him two days to train over the Keeneland main track prior to the Blue Grass.
We'll post an update after we know the outcome tomorrow.
