Simply Enchanting remained on schedule this morning, breezing five furlongs in 1:01.20 over the Santa Anita main track. Our daughter of Nyquist caught some company from the barn of Jeff Mullins and Carla Gaines in the turn but “fended off those challengers” with ease and galloped out well in front. Of course, all of these horses were looking to accomplish different things but it was positive to see how well our filly worked.
Trainer Phil D’Amato feels she is back on her game and the patience did her a world of good. We aren't far off from starting to look at race options and we'll relay any possibilities once they arise.
