Two more horses have been sidelined in the last several days--No More Time (#19) and Deterministic (#16). Our hearts go out to the connections of the injured horse and our prayers go out that he will return to a full and notable career. Although the listing hasn't been updated, we believe this will move Encino and Grand Mo the First into the gate.
Ceasar has now moved up to #25. He is still a longshot to get into the field on the first Saturday in May, and the partnership seems divided on if he should run or not if he has the opportunity, or if he should wait for other opportunities down the road. This will be our legendary trainer's call to make, of course.
We're not taking a stand either way. We believe if he's meant to be in the Kentucky Derby, it will happen. If he's not, we pray he continues to train and mature well, and there'll be plenty of opportunities down the road. We love ya, Ceasar.
