Legitify worked a sharp half-mile from the gate in :47.00 flat on 3/1/2024 while on the outside of stablemate Beach Boulevard. Our son of Justify broke well and was under a nice hold from his exercise rider Austin Solis down the backstretch. Austin gave him some rein into the turn and Legitify responded well. He ran the second fastest time of 120 works that morning.
Trainer Richard Mandella remains pleased with the progress of our colt. While he isn’t quite ready for the maiden special weight next Saturday (Mar. 9), he should be ready for the next one. Legitify is bred to love the turf being by a Galileo mare but despite that, he has handled the dirt with no issues in the mornings and Richard plans to try him on the dirt first time out.
