We have gone back and forth with trainer Richard Mandella to determine what is the best starting spot for Legitify as he is ready to make his debut. Despite his pedigree being influenced by the turf, his works on the dirt haven’t given us a reason to not consider main-track options as well but after further thought, we mutually agreed the turf option would be best.
Coming off the heels of a very nice work yesterday, Mandella believes the six and one-half furlong distance over the flat turf course on Mar. 31st should be perfect for him. If anything were to change, we do have a six-furlong dirt option on Apr. 6th which could be considered.
