Simply Enchanting breezed another five furlongs in 1:01.20 this morning at Santa Anita Park while on the outside of a stablemate.
Our daughter of Nyquist began a few lengths off of her mate and gradually made up ground in the turn to get on even terms at the head of the stretch. She separated from her mate in the stretch to complete what was a really solid breeze. Trainer Phil D’Amato was tending duties in Kentucky and we wish him the best of luck in tomorrow’s Kentucky Derby but we should be getting close to putting a race plan together.
Our options are a first-level allowance on May 26th facing older horses or the G2 Summertime Oaks on June 8th which is restricted to three-year-old fillies.
