So we took a little trip to Churchill Downs to see "Ceasar" this past weekend. It was all part of a barn visit organized by MRH for 50 partners to get exclusive barn access to the famous D. Wayne Lukas barn at Churchill to see Seize The Grey, meet jockey Jaime Torres, and Mr. Lukas's staff. It was a last minute, whirlwind trip but we didn't want to miss the chance of a lifetime to see our Preakness winner.
David was in demand for interviews. He did this one for the Bloodhorse news coverage (wow!) and also a televised interview with a local TV station. This has some great shots of the D. Wayne Lukas barn area and some of our fellow owners who we chatted with are also in the interview. Laurie is in some of the background shots and you might catch the close-up of Jaime Torres signing her Seize The Grey hat and t-shirt! He was so gracious and humble. A really great guy!
