Pioneer Prince Workout Recap

Pioneer Prince breezed a half-mile from the gate in :48.20 this morning on the outside of stablemate Persia. "Prince" broke fairly well and followed his workmate a few lengths behind, traveling comfortably under Jessica Pyfer. 

Trainer Richard Mandella was once again pleased with this drill, reporting that Persia was fitter and ready to run five furlongs with jockey Hector Berrios aboard. This was Pioneer Prince's second half-mile work and he will continue to build on his foundation before looking for a return to the races.
