Each individual barn and the Del Mar Fairgrounds staff took all necessary precautions to ensure all horses were in a covered stall with the addition of preparing for any potential flooding issues. The track was closed today and was a clean-up day for the barn preparing themselves for the remainder of the week.
Tomorrow, the track will re-open for joggers only due to CHRB protocols.
Please note, do not be alarmed if any breezes are delayed as horses have now missed two days of training and can only jog tomorrow. Our team will follow up with any additional updates later in the week regarding their training.
