Lane Way breezed his second quarter (2 furlongs) in :26.60 this morning at Santa Anita Park. This work panned out perfectly, having a duo of workers in front of him in the stretch, which played out as a nice target for him. Your gelding did it all on his own, and galloped out nicely in :37 and change.
Trainer Richard Mandella is extremely pleased with how our veteran has returned to training and is looking forward to his progression this summer. While we’re ways away, we are hopeful he can be ready for a return in the
G3 Green Flash Handicap on September 3rd which he finished 2nd in last year.
