Workout Report

Lady Blitz had her first breeze this morning in Saratoga, working a half mile in company out of the gate on the Oklahoma training track in :48.66 seconds. Assistant trainer Tristan Barry said that Lady Blitz's workmate was tick faster to the line, but our filly reengaged in the gallop out, galloping out much the best. This was something Tristan was happy to see as Lady Blitz was tending to quit during her gallop outs down at Monmouth Park. 

The exciting news about this work is that it showed the Pletcher team that Lady Blitz is ready to make her second start. That second start is going to come on opening day at Saratoga on Thursday, July 13th. Entries for that opening day will be drawn later today. 

We will follow up on that entry as soon as later today.
