Secret Crush Update

The MRH team stopped by Silver Springs to check on Secret Crush’s progress this morning. 

Secret Crush was nominated to the Triple Crown series in 2024 like Seize The Grey, but was sidetracked prior to May after showing considerable talent, and was given some time off. Now he has again begun his morning gallops. Plans are that he remain galloping through the end of the year, gradually increasing his work load in intensity and distance. We're optimistic that he'll be ready to head back to the track in early 2025 as a 4YO. 

As previously mentioned, Secret Crush has now been gelded. This was completed approximately a week ago and went smoothly. 

Secret Crush is a son of Candy Ride, out of Elarose, a Storm Cat daughter who's dam is the phenomenal Take Charge Lady.
