Seize the Grey had his first three-furlong breeze this week at Highlander Training Center. Farm trainer Jon Newbold oversaw the work and reported, “The colt worked a nice and easy 3/8ths this morning and looked good doing it.”
Our soon to be 3-year-old continues to progress in the right direction. As mentioned, the plan is for him to put in a few half-miles before shipping back to D. Wayne Lukas' barn at Oaklawn Park.
There are no definite plans for our soon-to-be 3YO, since everything will depend on how he trains back, but...Oaklawn does host the Arkansas Derby which awards considerable points toward the 2024 Kentucky Derby for 1st through 5th place. Here's a photo of Ceasar from this morning. |
