Magical Ways Update

Magical Ways breezed a half-mile on Saturday morning at Belmont Park, covering the four furlongs in 50.85 seconds (183/286) over the training track. 

The son of Maclean’s Music worked in company with stablemate Mercante, a 3–year-old son of Gun Runner who is entered in a maiden special weight at Aqueduct on Apr. 13. 

The 4-year-old colt is doing well and trainer Bill Mott is expecting an extra to be available for him shortly as the race on Apr. 6 ($40,000 maiden claiming / six furlongs dirt) did not fill. He will be entered to run as soon as Aqueduct writes a similar race.
