Seize The Grey has drawn post #6 -- a repeat of his Preakness post when he won going away - for the G1 Breeders Cup Dirt Mile on Saturday. The partnership is quite enthusiastic about the draw!
So far, so good, and it appears all systems are go. Seize The Grey will have a gallop tomorrow morning, but it will not be a timed work.
In other news, D. Wayne Lukas is not planning to attend the Breeders Cup races, due to having several first time starters at Churchill Downs this weekend, including our Caldera. We're secretly hoping he hops a jet and surprises everyone, even though we know that's not likely to happen. Assistant Trainer Baz will be overseeing Seize The Grey and all preparations at Del Mar.
