Seize The Grey Update: "Ceasar" turned in a 6F work this morning in 1:11.52 that was described as a "sharp breeze." He was the only horse that worked this distance. The Coach said he looked "exceptionally well" and that for him to do what he just did "really encouraged" him.
He also commented that the track was much "loser and sandier" on Belmont day than it's current condition, which seems much better suited to Ceasar's running style.
Mr. Lukas will make the determination in the coming days if Ceasar will have another work prior to his expected start in the G3 Jim Dandy Stakes on July 27th and we'll keep you posted.
There are currently 19 horses nominated, and official entries will be taken this Sunday, July 21st.
