Mo Temptation Update After Temp Spike
Mo Temptation is improving but not yet one hundred percent since she spiked a temperature last week at San Luis Rey Downs. Assistant trainer Kim Marrs pulled a precautionary blood sample and has been keeping an eye on her SAA (Serum Amyloid A) levels, which returned higher than the norm. SSA indicates a stress or inflammatory response to what we believe is a “little bug” that she got.
Physically, the filly remains in good order but since she did spend most of the week walking, will not breeze again tomorrow. Kim will recheck her SAA levels again tomorrow and put together a plan from there.
