The Last Two Beginning Speed Works

Seize The Grey (formerly Smart Shopping '21) completed his first speed work this week, and after some initial silliness on the track, he got down to business in company, ran well and galloped out beautifully. During his work, the trainer commented that he "used himself well." He also caught and passed his companion during the work. 

We were very happy with what we saw.

Meanwhile, Enchante '21's speed work has been delayed slighting due to her hitting her knee which caused a bit of fillling. It didn't result in an injury and hasn't impacted her regular training, but her trainer made the decision to hold off on her speed work until the swelling has subsided (and we're in hearty agreement with that plan).
